What Is Sky Signature?

Sky Signature is the rebranded version of Sky’s Entertainment package. It combines the older Sky Entertainment plan with the Sky Box Sets package, which was available as a separate add-on for customers subscribed to Sky Entertainment. 

With the Sky Signature package, subscribers get access to more than 300 channels on Sky Q (including over 150 channels that you can’t find on Freeview), as well as on-demand 500 Box Sets, and more than 60 dedicated TV channels.

So, how much is Sky Signature?

The package starts from £26 a month for an 18-month contract, with a one-off TV installation fee of £20. 

If you want to add your Netflix subscription to the package or any other service that’s not available in the plan, it will cost you extra. Some of the options include Sky’s Ultimate TV add-on (which comes with Netflix), Sky Sports, Multiscreen, Sky Cinema, BT Sport, Ultra HD + HD, Sky Kids, and Disney+.

On the plus side, you can cancel the add-ons any time during the 31-day rolling contract period.

Sky Signature Packages

Sky Signature subscribers can choose between two packages. You can take out a TV plan only or a TV plan with a broadband connection.

• TV Plans

The Sky Signature cost starts from £26 per month. Subscribers only pay more if they include an add-on in their package. 

For example, you can add Sky Sports to your plan for £32 a month or BT Sport for £28 a month.

• Broadband and TV Plans

If you don’t have an Internet provider or are looking to change your current provider, you might want to consider getting a TV and broadband plan with Sky. The Sky Signature price for this package starts from £30, plus a £25 installation fee.

It includes 350+ Sky Signature package channels across Sky TV & Freeview, as well as Netflix, Sky Pay As You Talk (Sky’s home telephone service). Subscribers to the Sky Signature TV package with broadband can choose from the following options:

Sky Signature Extras

Sky customers can expand their Sky Signature package channel list with a wide range of add-ons, including:

• Sky Sports

Subscribers that add Sky Sports to the list of channels on Sky Signature get access to around 8 channels where they can watch the latest sporting events in more than 15 sports, including F1, cricket, golf, and football. The costs range from £18 – £32 per month for an 18-month contract.

• BT Sports

This add-on is pricier at £27 but it offers plenty in return for football fans. It provides access to all 52 Premier League games, the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League games, as well as the Ultimate Fighting Championship series. The best part about it is that it doesn’t require a term contract. 

• Sky Cinema

If you are worried about streaming movies online, getting this add-on will add 12 Cinema channels to your Sky Signature channels list for an extra £12 per month, you can watch top-rated movies from different genres such as comedy, drama, movie premiere, thrillers, and even sci-fi horror. Some of the most popular movies available include Spider-Man: No Way Home, No Time To Die, and The Batman.

• HD and UHD

The HD and UHD add-on include more than 39 HD channels and a 2-screen Netflix subscription. It can be added and cancelled during the 31-day rolling contract.

• Multiscreen

For £15 a month, you can get an extra Sky Signature mini box and watch TV on different devices at the same time. Subscribers can also watch live TV and download on-demand shows on up to 4 devices. 

• Sky Kids

Sky Kids offers dedicated kids’ channels, including  Nickelodeon, Nick JrCartoon Network, and Baby TV, as well as a Kids App where your child can stream over 5,000 episodes of kids’ TV shows. The add-on costs £6 a month on a 31-day rolling month contract.

• Netflix

Netflix Basic is free for one device on the Sky Signature package, but you can still upgrade to Netflix Standard or Netflix Premium if you want to watch on more screens at the same time. This popular online streaming platform gives access to an expansive TV show and movie library. 

• Disney+

For £7.99 a month (on a 31-day rolling contract), subscribers to the Sky Signature TV package gain access to Disney+. They can watch Disney’s classics and new Disney movies and get side-by-side recommendations based on their watch history.
