Other perks include access to Amazon Prime Gaming (where you get exclusive in-game loot, free monthly PC games, and a free monthly Twitch subscription), Amazon Video (unlimited streaming), Amazon Music, Kindle First, and more.
An Amazon Prime subscription currently costs £7.99 a month, but the company is hiking the price to £8.99, starting September 15.

Amazon Prime Video is an on-demand streaming video service that allows users to stream shows and movies, as well as rent and purchase content (including Amazon original TV).
The monthly subscription costs £5.99.
Kindle Unlimited offers access to millions of different e-books, newspapers, magazines, and similar content.
The monthly subscription for Kindle Unlimited in the UK is £7.99 a month.
Amazon Audible is the company’s audiobook and podcast service, where you can find thousands of best-selling digital audiobooks, and audio subscriptions to popular magazines and newspapers, and radio and TV programs.
The subscriptions include unlimited access to the Plus Catalogue, Amazon credit to download any title of your choice, and up to 60% off on selected content.
An Audible membership in the UK costs £7.99 a month and the Annual Plan is £69.99.
Amazon Music Unlimited is a service that offers access to more than 90 million tracks for a single subscription, personalised streaming Stations and playlists, ad-free plays, and offline listening.
The Amazon Music Unlimited subscription costs £9.99 a month and if you’re a Prime member, you can access the service for £8.99 a month or £89 with an annual subscription.
Amazon Kids + is like Amazon Prime for kids.
It gives unlimited access to thousands of kid-friendly movies, TV shows, books, educational apps, and games, and allows parents to set daily limits, modify browser behaviour, and keep track of what their kids are watching, reading, or playing.
Prices for an Amazon Kids+ subscription start at £3.99 a month or £38 for the annual plan.
Amazon Drive is cloud-based storage for photos, videos, and files.
The service can charge you anywhere between £1.49, £7.99, and £15.99 per month, depending on how much space you need from 100GB to 2TB).
You could also opt for an annual subscription which will cost you £239.97 for 3TB and up to £2399.70 per year for 30TB.
Worth noting: Amazon announced that it’s shutting down its Amazon Drive by the end of 2023.
Amazon doesn’t offer any free digital services, but there are some ways to avoid certain Amazon Digital charges.
You could either sign up for a free trial period, which lasts for 30 days on most digital services offered by Amazon or get free access to some of them via a Prime membership.
