Switching between TikTok accounts shouldn’t take you more than a few seconds since you’re already logged into them on that device.

Having multiple TikTok accounts can be a great way to expand your brand, boost your business’ growth on TikTok, or start something different from scratch.
However, there are some things you, as a creator, should be wary of before you add a second TikTok account to your device.
One of the most important things that can immensely affect your TikTok presence is your account’s authority ranking. This essentially is TikTok’s way of answering the question: ‘How much of an influencer are you on the app?’
Having multiple accounts on a single device can flag you as a business and like many platforms, TikTok will likely de-prioritise your account to prompt you to pay for ads to grow. This means that you’ll get less exposure, which translates to fewer views, less engagement, and ultimately, less growth.
Pro tip: If any of your accounts are getting around 100 views per video, then it’s likely that your authority ranking is low and you should consider starting again.

Any TikTok user, whether they’re a creator or a business, or use the app for entertainment purposes only, can create and add up to three accounts per device. TikTok allows users to create a second and third account with a different email or a phone number or they can sign up on the app via one of their social media accounts.
The only way to have more than 3 accounts on TikTok is to use more than one device to log onto the app.
Having more than one account on a single device is typically not recommended for creators that are looking to grow on the platform. If you already have a good authority ranking or want a second account for different reasons, then there’s no reason why you shouldn’t add more than one TikTok account on the same device.
You cannot create more than one account on Tik with the same email or phone number.
